What we need from you
- Experience leading an innovation team or clear transferable skills
- Experience of the end-to-end innovation process, including idea generation, incubation and scaling
- Knowledge and application of innovation techniques and concepts
- Experience of business model development
- Strong customer, commercial, financial, and entrepreneurial acumen – leading the development of business plans and investment cases
- Strong analytical (qualitative and quantitative), critical thinking, and conceptualisation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills & stakeholder management – building deep relationships and networks, with ability to influence people at all levels
- Ability to mobilise and lead cross-functional teams including where they do not have direct authority, collaborating effectively
- Degree level education, preferably in a numerate discipline
If would also be good if you had:
- MBA or other relevant postgraduate or professional qualifications.
- Start-up experience
- Experience of the innovation function in a large corporate
- Strong and relevant external networks
