Head of User Experience (UX)

NATS is the UK’s leading air navigation service provider, handling over 2 million flights each year. What will you be doing

We are looking for an experienced User Experience (UX) professional to lead on all User Experience work for our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project whilst working with peers and stakeholders to develop our UX capability.

Your day to day will have a mix of delivering in the ERP project and working with peers in the Human Factors & Wellbeing team in delivering early prototyping capability and UX advice across multiple other projects. You will also engage stakeholders across the business to develop our UX offering and business.

Reporting directly to the Director of Human Factors and Wellbeing you will have the opportunity to participate in wider strategic work across the team.

Required Qualifications/Skills

  • Honours degree in a User Experience related qualification or demonstrable equivalent work experience,
  • Significant experience in delivering great User Experience outcomes;
  • Demonstrable Business Development expertise and experience
  • Competent critical thinker, demonstrable senior leadership experience,
  • Ability to provide confident technical and crisis management direction.
  • Extensive experience and understanding of an operating environment.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and listen.
  • Negotiating skills with a track record of successful negotiations

Desirable Qualifications/Skills

  • Leadership of UX projects.
  • A Project Management qualification.
