Our Field teams are critical in the delivery of our contracts, whether that is delivering or supervising maintenance, installation, cabling or civils works. Help build and keep the nation’s critical infrastructure connected and protected 24/7.

Working within our Infrastructure Services division and reporting into the National EHS Manager, the EHS Advisor will support operations with implementing processes in line with industry best practice and minimise the potential for injury. This is an agile working role, with approximately 50% travel in the South region.

What you’ll do:

  • Support our Infrastructure Services business unit in achieving the best possible health, safety, environmental and assurance standards.
  • Delivering against the Health, Safety and Environmental Plans in support of the EHS Managers
  • Monitoring and Reporting on EHS Performance
  • Assisting operational staff in the investigation and reporting of accidents, incidents and non-conformances and making recommendations for corrective action
  • Supporting with effective and successful audit programmes, including building EHS inspections, tours and audit programmes
  • Ensuring effective implementation of EHS policies and procedures
  • Deliver EHS training internally and externally and continually strive to educate on best practice EHS standards. This will be through producing management reports, Toolbox Talks, alerts, newsletters, bulletins and the creation and facilitation of training programs.

Who you are:

You will have a good understanding of H&S, ideally gained within the Telecoms or Utilities industry. You will also have excellent stakeholder management, communication and reporting skills.

Key Requirements:

  • NEBOSH General or Higher or working towards.
  • NRSWA Supervisor
  • Proven communication and influencing skills in a similar role.
  • Full, clean driving licence
