You will lead the Organisation Talent and Learning (OTL) Delivery and Apprenticeship Team, overseeing workflows and coordinating learning activities to support the OTL Strategy. Working with internal and external stakeholders, you will manage team priorities, communications, and the delivery of agency-wide learning programmes. The role includes line management responsibilities, ownership of apprenticeship activity, and acting as the subject matter expert for learning initiatives, providing guidance and support across the Agency.

 

Top Responsibilities

  • Managing the OTL shared inbox, controlling the flow of work to be delegated across the OTL team, monitoring / identifying trends within the workflow.
  • You will coordinate the day-to-day delivery of the apprenticeship programme, managing learner onboarding, applications, cohort scheduling, data accuracy, learner progress tracking, communications, and event coordination to ensure a high-quality service. The role includes line management responsibility for an Administrative Officer, maintaining apprenticeship records and reporting, supporting learners and stakeholders, resolving issues, monitoring risks, and driving continuous improvement across apprenticeship processes and systems.”
  • Supporting the Senior T&L Consultant with prioritising workloads and managing the OTL weekly and annual calendar along with providing support to the OTL Consultants to deliver OTL initiatives ensuring sufficient resource is allocated to support
  • Coordinating delivery of learning and development activities such as; administration of all CSL courses, booking rooms, dates and delegate management activities i.e. scheduling delegates, organising cancellations, substitutes and waiting lists and fully utilising the Learning Management System (LMS).

About You

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following experience:

  • Experience in the use of Microsoft applications and other IT applications
  • You will have strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

If you do not already hold a CIPD Level 3 qualification, then you must be willing to work towards this once in post.
