💷 Salary: £37,733 – includes a non-pensionable Recruitment and Retention allowance of £3,500.

We are looking for an Infrastructure Operations Engineer to help manage and maintain the core infrastructure that underpins production services. The role holder has the technical knowledge and ability to provide second and third line support for incidents, problems and changes to solutions and services.
Our Infrastructure Operations Engineers are responsible for the preparation and support of IT operations solutions and services, physical or virtual. They do so according to industry and organisational best practices, standards, service requirements and Key Performance Indicators throughout the product life cycle.

- Assist in technical support activities and carry out all routine maintenance tasks according to process.
- Monitor infrastructure and application services taking appropriate action where necessary.
- Diagnose and prioritise standard incidents, investigate their causes and finding resolutions, allocating them to the appropriate channels where necessary.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will need to be able to manage IT systems on and off premise. You will need to support software and infrastructure development projects and be able to work autonomously.
Technically you would have worked with a range of systems, such as Windows and Linux in both virtual and physical environments, with evidence of implementing technical best practice within a technical framework.
You will be an excellent communicator, able to collaborate with colleagues and customers whilst diagnosing and resolving problems and escalated customer issues.
You will be adept at investigating and implementing technical solutions whilst documenting processes to ensure they are fit for purpose and repeatable.
