The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) is seeking a HR Data and Governance Lead. You will join the Corporate Services Group which is responsible for the effective delivery of Corporate Services to the MCA. Our Corporate Services Group includes Communications, Digital and Technology, Procurement, Finance and Analysis, Health & Safety and Sustainability, Human Resources (HR), Property & Facilities, Governance and Strategy, Protective Security and Information Assurance, Programme Management Office, and Internal Assurance.

 

You will become a key member of HR which is essential as an enabling function being responsible for the planning and delivery of the MCA’s People Strategy and a full range of HR services including Organisational Design and Development, Talent Management, Employee Relations, Volunteer support, and Reward and Resourcing.

About You

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following experience:

  • Experience leading people data analysis and reporting, and assurance in a complex organisation.
  • Experience overseeing governance, risk, audit and compliance processes.
  • Strong financial management capability including oversight of budgets.
  • Applied experience in using Power BI, Microsoft Lists, Power Automate or equivalent tools.
  • Proven ability to manage senior stakeholder demands, negotiate priorities and influence decisions.
