Overview
West Midlands Fire Service (WMFS) is the second largest fire and rescue service in England, serving an area of 902 square kilometres and a population of some three million people. Our Strategy drives the people, professionalism and pride with which we serve our communities.
Our work to reduce risks within our communities is guided by our Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP), which sets out our long-term priorities for making the West Midlands safer, stronger and healthier. High-quality data is essential to understanding community risk, targeting resources effectively and supporting informed decision-making across the service.
As a Data Quality Officer, you will help ensure the information used to support these activities is accurate, consistent and reliable, enabling WMFS to deliver its aims and ambitions and make a tangible difference to the communities protected by our 38 fire stations.
