Payment Adequacy Performance Manager

This role is part of the E.ON Next Credit Risk Team and offers the successful candidate the opportunity to play their part in helping us create experiences that our customers rave about.

Payment Adequacy (or PA) is the decision engine that decides the correct level for customer Direct Debit payments. Where changes are required this needs to be communicated effectively to the customer to ensure understanding. This role will ensure all elements of the PA journey are coordinated to keep customers on track – avoiding either falling into problem debt or holding excessive credit.

As a PA Performance Manager, you will be working in partnership with our Credit Risk, Operational teams and broader areas to drive performance through insight and trends on the payment adequacy process.

You should already be confident at analysing datasets from multiple sources and in communicating the results to a range of stakeholders to enable ease of understanding. Tableau experience is preferred.

You will need to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high levels of empowerment and will be focused on driving impact and business value.

Are you the person for the job? Here’s what we need –

  • The ability to carry out root cause, deep dive analysis as required across a wide range of performance reporting metrics

  • The ability to determine the reasons for performance drops or stagnation and to establish new, or suggest improvements to existing, operational practices

  • Discussing and validating root cause findings and agreeing timely corrective action plans and, in turn, tracking closure

  • The ability to leverage your own skills to provide insightful information, commentary and historic data reporting as required in order for leaders to make informed decisions about performance and customer strategies

  • Presenting data and insights in a way that helps leaders understand the full picture and potential solutions

  • Analysing customer journeys to fully understand ‘pain points’, utilising your expert knowledge in order that informed recommendations can be made

  • Preparation of detailed analytical reports on risks and opportunities for use by Credit Risk

  • Proactively engage with key stakeholders to ensure that all relevant parties are aware of any risks

  • Proven experience in process performance management, process improvement and data analysis

  • Project management experience, to oversee delivery of initiatives from recommendations and maintain standard project documentation (RAID, RACI and Project Plan)

Desirable:

  • Energy industry experience

  • Previous management experience
