The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) plays a vital role in keeping Britain’s roads safe and efficient. We are responsible for the registration and licensing of drivers in Great Britain and vehicles across the UK, as well as the collection and enforcement of Vehicle Excise Duty (VED). Our work ensures that only qualified drivers and correctly taxed vehicles are on the road.

Play a key role in protecting the integrity of the Registered Number Plate Supplier (RNPS) scheme by promoting and monitoring compliance. The role supports fair and consistent enforcement by providing guidance to suppliers, completing audit checks and preparing cases where required, and working in line with data protection, legislative and health and safety requirements. This role is undertaken in a people focussed environment that champions recognition, involvement, development and support for all, and is performed in line with Civil Service values.

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following experience:

Experience of delivering audits and compliance activities to uphold regulatory standards.
Experience of building effective stakeholder relationships to investigate concerns and achieve operational outcomes.
Experience of analysing evidence and producing clear reports to support decision-making and enforcement activity.
Experience of leading people and fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
