This role will support Senior Finance Managers in the effective delivery of tasks and high quality customer services.

You will work as part of a small, dynamic strategic change approvals team, offering an excellent opportunity to gain insight into the wider change governance and assurance function within DVLA. The role involves engaging with key stakeholders across the Agency, up to and including Board level and supporting the wider change community by providing advice and guidance in the development of change approval documentation (including business cases).

 

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing a comprehensive support and advice service to business areas, customers and stakeholders.
  • Acting as Subject Matter Expert for team activities and the relevant standards, legislation and best practice.
  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with relevant stakeholders ensuring appropriate governance/guidance is adhered to.

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following experience:

  • Supporting or delivering change initiatives within an organisational setting.
  • Stakeholder management, working with customers and colleagues at different levels to support the delivery of business objectives.
  • Working in a busy environment, effectively planning and managing competing workloads to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and challenge effectively at all levels.
