Do you have experience working in an organisation that supports individuals with complex needs, including substance misuse, homelessness, physical and emotional wellbeing issues?
Do you have experience of supporting individuals to maintain their own choices around their needs including homelessness?
Do you have experience of working respectfully with individuals offering advice, guidance and support on varied support needs that may affect their ability to obtain or sustain housing?
Do you have knowledge of inform system, and able to authorise support plans and risk assessment?
Are you able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people in a professional manner and develop partnerships and networks?

We began as a soup run supporting people who were homeless in the North East over 45 years ago, and are proud to still have our main base and central office in the North East. Since 1970, our services have grown and developed to support people experiencing a wide range of personal challenges, including addiction and recovery programmes, employment guidance, help for people in prison or on probation, and support for people experiencing sexual exploitation or domestic abuse.

About the job
To support the development and delivery of accommodation for females and males experiencing Homeless with additional unmet needs. To work with people to ensure they have the skills and resilience to sustain a tenancy of their own. To work with people accessing Changing Lives in order to improve their quality of life and to deliver an excellent service for our clients in line with the organisation’s mission, service goals, values and associated regulations, guidance and legislature. To deliver bespoke one to one support sessions and alternative interventions to achieve sustainable change.
