Salary : £18,600 – £23,283
You would be joining a small, dynamic work experience team operating across the college to deliver work experience to over 3000 students on study programmes.
Work experience is integral to future developments in vocational education and is seen as something that can have a transformative effect on a young person. The team collaborate closely with curriculum managers, tutors and pastoral colleagues to provide students with high quality work experience that will deepen their knowledge of their chosen industry and help equip them with skills that will prepare them for the workplace.
Work experience activities are designed to provide a safe and supportive environment with a commitment to diversity and inclusion to help all students reach their potential. The team have a central office in the Learning Exchange but they all spend days across the other college buildings, on set days and times, so that all students have direct access to the service.
