Role Description
A new opportunity has just become available and we’re looking for an Underwriter to join our Real Estate Underwriting team.
As an integral member of the full cycle national LMRE Team, your focus will be on writing business and to contribute to the profitable growth of the Allianz LMRE Account.
Underwriters are the first point of contact for all customers of the Real Estate Division. To work as part of this successful and dynamic division, you will be customer focused and team oriented in order to deliver an excellent customer journey.
This is a hybrid working role, where you will be in the London office 2/3 days a week.
Job duties
- Building strong relationships with brokers, negotiating effectively, and providing excellent customer service at all times
- Working as part of a close-knit team to offer renewal terms before deadlines, along with mid-term adjustments, survey preparation, and other types of policy transaction as needed
- Thorough checking and issuing of documents to clients
- Learning about different areas of the business from industry-leading Underwriters
- Support the wider teams by being proactive, enthusiastic and by challenging yourself to go out of your comfort zone.
- Provide suggestions to continuously improve the business in an ever-changing environment
