what you will be doing
18.5 hours per week
(Weds afternoon, Thursday 9-5, Friday 9-5)
We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to provide a pro-active service to victims of domestic abuse, keeping them safe. The Triage Support Worker will assess incoming referrals to ascertain risk levels and appropriate service involvement.
The role involves being proactive around gaining contact with new clients, completing referrals, assessing risk, initial safety planning and ensuring they explain the service offer and build client confidence encouraging engagement.
The work involves having excellent communication skills in building relationships with clients, interacting with your colleagues and liaising with professionals in order to enable clients gain independence and take back control of their lives to be able to live free from domestic abuse and violence.

Offers are subject to an enhanced DBS check. Successful candidates will undertake a 5 day Induction Programme prior to starting employment. This Induction Programme is Mandatory and all new employees have to attend the programme. You will be paid a flat rate for attending these days.
