Sunday and Bank Holiday £35.68 per hour
Our main adult theatre is a busy and dynamic environment, setting the benchmark for clinical excellence. We have 5 operating suites catering for Cardiac, Orthopaedics, ENT and Ophthalmic, Plastics, General/Vascular, Urology and Gynaecology. We work with surgeons who are the best in their specialities carrying out simple to the more complex surgeries.
Role Overview
As a Recovery Theatre Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team and to participate in the assessment of patient care needs and implement and maintain agreed standards of care.
What you’ll do
•    Prepare patients for clinical/ operative procedures in Recovery
•    Provide assistance in clinical/ operative procedures in Recovery.
•    Provide immediate post-operative care.
•    You will be required to provide recovery assistance to the consultants during all surgical procedures.
What you’ll bring:
  • NMC Registered Nurse (Adult and/or Children).
  • Alternatively, HCPC registered with a Diploma or Degree in Health Care Studies / ODP Level 3 NVQ / ODA 752.
  • Previous recovery experience.
