Job Description

We’re looking for a Team Lead – Fraud Prevention and Detection to join our growing team.

Day to Day You’ll Be:

  • Analyse fraud events, patterns and behaviors to understand the root cause of the suspicious activity.
  • Draw out strategic insights from the data to strengthen fraud prevent and detection controls, which will include authentication, verification and onboarding.
  • Promote a fraud prevention and detection strategy working with internal teams and stakeholders to balance conversion rates with risk appetite.
  • Manage the Fraud Prevention team in the optimising fraud controls by maximising resources.
  • Undertake ad-hoc analysis to investigate specific fraud issues.
  • Identify and develop reporting options that allows for progressive fraud MI and analytics.
  • Manage the relationship with Cifas and external fraud associates, and to act as a fraud representative where required.
  • Support the wider business function and be a fraud SME where required.

Job Requirements:
Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience of using analytic software to drive solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Working knowledge of preventing fraud within a financial services is required.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Proven analytical approach to solving problems.
  • Previous management or supervisor experience desireable.
