Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Value Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive social value and skills development plans, with a particular focus on Sheffield and the City of London Square Mile.
  • Community Engagement: Establish and manage various engagement platforms to gather insights and promote effective communication within designated heat zones.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and collaborate with key stakeholders across designated heat zones, ensuring alignment with community needs and business objectives.
  • Skills Development: Address skills gaps by creating and implementing skills development plans in partnership with local authorities and stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Develop and implement tools for monitoring progress towards social value and skills development objectives, in line with industry standards.
  • Relationship Building: Forge strong relationships and influence stakeholders across UK Solutions and designated heat zones, advocating for sustainability and social impact.
  • Supply Chain Support: Collaborate with the Heat Zone Development Supply Chain Lead to prioritize skills development and social value initiatives within the local supply chain.
  • Reporting and Governance: Provide regular progress updates to relevant stakeholders, including executive and board-level presentations, and support PMO Lead with governance processes.

What we need from you

  • Proven track record in working with large, complex projects and/or programmes including delegation of tasks and measurement of progress
  • Qualified in either AMP or Prince 2 project management principles
  • Ability to build strong relationships and motivate and influence stakeholders, including management level
  • A demonstrable understanding of, and passion for, all matters relating to social value, skills development and their importance in our commitment to delivering the energy transition
  • Demonstratable experience in analysing data, making connections and delivering clear finding via reports and dashboards
  • Ability to prioritise, solve problems and work off own initiate to manage challenges.
  • Advanced MS Office skills including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
