We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Innovation team. This is a key role where you will strive to develop products that delight our customers and build on diversifying the product offering for Reach plc. As well as being a great problem solver, you will be commercially minded and passionate about putting the customer first.

Hybrid model with 1-2 days a week in our Canary Wharf office.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will have a rapid validation mindset and will challenge both yourself and the team to make data driven decisions and find ways of rapidly validating multiple ideas quickly to ensure we only invest effort where it counts.
  • You’ll be responsible for understanding our users, setting a compelling product vision, prioritisation, acquiring and retaining users. Ultimately, you’ll be responsible for the success of the innovation products.
  • Working closely with other product managers, developers, designers, external partners, senior leadership and journalists you will help identify opportunities & challenges while guiding the products to success.
  • You’ll maintain necessary technical, UX & market knowledge to understand our product, the market & future opportunities.
    Fostering a high-performance culture by setting clear expectations and having in-the-moment performance discussions.
  • Developing a culture of trust, where people are safe to speak up, clear on their role in the team’s success and empowered to be their best at work.
  • We are looking for someone who has an uncanny ability to identify value, risk and can prioritise to get the right products and features developed. You should have experience managing product backlogs.
  • It would be beneficial if you have some technical knowledge of frontend, backend and technologies. Experience scaling up products using technologies like AWS would be helpful.

  • You’ll also need to be a great communicator – we want to see you inspire us by presenting compelling product visions while convincing other stakeholders to get behind you. You’ll also need to be able to listen to users & distil their needs into new high-value features.
  • Data focused, expert ability to create data dashboards and insights reporting
  • You need to have experience managing consumer facing digital products (website, apps or both) and be able to display an understanding of different user types. Experience with large scale media/tech products would be ideal. We will consider people with similar transferable skills who have a genuine enthusiasm for the role.
