what you’ll be doing
As a Senior Peer Support Worker within the Acorn Peer Support team across the Fylde Coast, you will work closely with NHS clinicians offering Mental Health and Lived Experience Leadership to support recovery journeys to ‘a life worth living’. As well as providing support to caseloads, you will supervise a small team of passionate and dedicated Peer Support Workers. Offering guidance and leadership to people with lived experience, empowering them to deliver a high quality service for our clients and commissioners. This is a really exciting and rewarding role where you’ll be able to positively impact people’s future, improving their prospects and their quality of life.
You will be based at either Blackpool Football Club, or across our two sites in Fleetwood and St Annes.
Your hours of work would be 37.5 hours per week and will generally be between 9-5pm, although some evenings and weekends may be required on occasion.
