Senior Associate – Family 27 views

Role Purpose

The Role

We are currently adopting a hybrid approach of balancing working on both a remote and office based basis, according to client need.  Our offices and working practices are set in a Covid-19 compliant manner, therefore, so as long as you would be able to come to our Southampton at least twice per week, client and team requirements depending, you will be able to undertake this role.   You will be a core part of the team and able to access the technology, support and resources you require.   You will be able to rely on support from team members across the firm.  Our lawyer teams are also well supported by our Business Services Finance, HR, IT and Risk functions.

More information about our practice can be found here.

Our family law team has a national profile and a reputation for providing excellent advice with sensitivity and integrity.  We provide assistance on a range of legal issues that affect families including divorce, separation and finances; children; modern families; civil partnership disputes and separation agreements; family mediation, collaborative law and arbitration and inheritance act disputes.  The team is ranked Tier 1 in both Chambers and Legal 500 and boasts an enviable client base.

The team comprises partners, associates, solicitors and paralegals all of whom specialise in family law but who come from a mix of backgrounds. Our client base continues to grow rapidly and consequently excellent opportunities continue to arise with us.

In order to service an ever increasing workload, we seek an associate with at least 10 years’ post qualification experience and who has significant relevant experience in family law to join our Southampton based team.

The role will involve travel to our London office to complete work generated from London based clients and would ideally suit an Accredited Mediator and/or Collaborative Practitioner.
