Role: Floating Support Worker
Hours: 35 (permanent)
We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to work closely with victims and survivors of domestic abuse providing direct practical and emotional support to keep them safe.You will make contact with new clients, explain the service, carry out initial risk assessments and safety planning, building client confidence and encourage engagement with Floating Support Service.
The work involves having excellent communication skills in building relationships with clients, interacting with your colleagues and liaising with professionals in order to enable clients gain independence and take back control of their lives to be able to live free from domestic abuse and violence.
