In this role you will work closely with the Senior Resourcing Lead to support the development, implementation, and management of a range of strategic resourcing and delivery interventions to attract and recruit diverse and quality talent. You will use your resourcing expertise to provide valuable advice and guidance to the business, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
You will invest time in developing and maintaining effective, collaborative relationships with a range of stakeholders, both within and outside of the Department.
You’ll work closely with DfT’s Department for Resourcing Group (DRG) to understand and support DVLA recruitment, attracting and recruiting new talent.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Working to establish an effective customer relationship that allows DVLA to work collaboratively with DRG and the Government Recruitment Service (GRS)
- Working with the Senior Resourcing Lead to support vacancy holders with hard-to-fill roles, considering alternative attraction and resourcing options, including talent acquisition
- Reviewing key campaigns and conducting regular analysis of recruitment data and recommending/implementing continuous improvements as a result
- Supporting the Senior Resourcing Lead, to upskill HR Business Consultants and recruitment support teams, ensuring consistency in recruitment matters that are aligned with the Civil Service Recruitment Principles
- Managing the joiners and leavers processes, including exit interviews and the new starter survey, analysing findings to inform recruitment and retention strategies
