We have a new opportunity for a Resilience by Design Officer, reporting to the Head of Operational Resilience.  This is a key role within the Operational Resilience Team, responsible for ensuring that any changes implemented by the organisation incorporates any required resilience during the design stage.

The role will ensure that the change and associated mitigating resilience activities will not increase the organisation’s Operational Resilience risk profile.  Additionally, the role will ensure that any changes in the organisation are reflected in the Operational Resilience framework, tools, data, processes, etc and any required changes are incorporated into Operational Resilience activities.
Key Responsibilities

  • Liaising with all Change and Project teams to ensure Resilience is imbedded into all Change initiatives.
  • Ensuring all change and associated resilience activities do not increase the organisation’s Operational Resilience risk profile.
  • Ensuring that the resilience planned as part of the change is tested ahead of final implementation of the change.
  • Ensuring that any changes impacting our Important Business Suppliers are embedded into Operational Resilience work including impact tolerances, mapping, vulnerabilities and framework.
  • Working closely with the Head of Operational Resilience and cross-functional teams to integrate resilience considerations into strategic planning processes. Innovation and Technology Integration, identifying innovative technologies and solutions that can enhance operational resilience.
  • Collaborating with departments such as IT, Risk Management etc, fostering a culture of information sharing to strengthen organizational resilience.
