Role:                  Refuge Assistant (Weekends)

Location:          Burnley

Hours:               12 hours a week  (Saturday and Sunday 12-6 or 1-7 or 2-8- to meet service needs)

Salary:               £18,942 (pro rata)

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to work closely with survivors of domestic abuse offering administrative support and at times direct support to the women that we work with. The premises are staffed 24/7 and the role includes providing practical housing and administration support, including health, safety and security measures in a supported housing environment.

The work involves having excellent communication skills in building relationships with residents and their children, interacting with your colleagues and liaising with professionals to contribute effectively to the smooth running of the Refuge.
