As a Platform Security Operations Engineer, you’ll provide essential support to our customers. You’ll ensure our consumer and enterprise computing platforms stay fully operational. In doing so, you’ll contribute to the safeguarding of our national security.

The role
This is a great opportunity to develop skills, gain experience and push yourself out of your comfort zone. You’ll work across a range of platforms including Android, iOS, Windows, macOS and Linux. As part of the Platform Security team, you’ll configure and build solutions that meet our customer requirements. You’ll investigate in-service issues and resolve them quickly, providing installation support where necessary.

Between three to six months in, you’ll be assigned a platform specialism. You’ll be a key point of contact and gain a deeper technical knowledge of that platform, all while working towards industry recognised qualifications. So, you’ll become an expert in your field, and contribute to the overall technical direction of your specialism. This role will also require you to provide on-call cover for approximately six weeks across the year, for which you will receive an on-call allowance.

Your profile
You’ll have experience of using and providing technical support for at least one common operating system. Not only will you be keen to learn, you’ll bring your own knowledge to the team to help shape our operations. You’ll come up with innovative solutions, and communicate these effectively. As you’ll be part of a welcoming team, you’ll enjoy working collaboratively and be proactive about sharing your new ideas and perspectives.
