what you will be doing
To meet the growing needs of our diverse and growing organisation, we are looking to appoint to the newly created role of Learning and Development Manager. This exciting and impactful role will be responsible for building a learning, development, and continuous improvement culture at Calico. The Learning and Development Manager will work closely with the Head of HR and Executive Director of Organisational Development. You will be responsible for developing our learning and development offer, so that as a Group we can harness our talent and upskill our people through professional programmes that are attractive, flexible and accessible.
You will be responsible for assessing the skills and interventions we already have within the Group, then developing and delivering a new learning and development strategy to drive the business forward as well as leading on the day-to-day design, delivery and evaluation of interventions.
Hours: We envisage that this is a full-time role however for the right candidate part time working could be facilitated
Location: Our Group Business Services are based in Burnley, longer term this role will require some regional travel. Currently this role will be a mixture of home and office working.
