What’s it all about?

As our Insurance Manager, a new role at Travelodge, you will be responsible for maximising the value we deliver via insurance placement, processes, and procedures, supporting our ability to manage risk efficiently within our business.

You will develop and maintain our insurable risk appetite statement, ensuring it remains relevant to the external environment, our corporate objectives and insurance market conditions. You will also review and refine our existing insurance programme and deliver insurance renewals to the agreed timetable with consideration of options available.

Who will this appeal to?

You will be a driven individual ideally qualified to ACII and/or IRM standards. You will be able to translate complicated insurance areas into something the business can understand.

You will have experience in the broader external insurance market, ideally understanding how insurance brokers and/or insurers operate. You can work effectively with our external consultants and understand their motives and drivers to maximise our engagement. You’ll also understand how to effectively place and improve an insurance programme to best suit our business requirements.

  • Salary £61,000 – £70,000
