We have an opportunity for an experienced senior Research Manager/Director to lead the strategy offering of Expert Solutions, this includes longer term vision & forecasting projects, segmentation and demand space analysis. This is an outstanding opportunity to drive the penetration, commercial and analytical progression of the service across our prestigious client base.

Key Outcomes

  • Lead the promotion, positioning and communication of the offer externally: Thought leadership and PR around the client process area and our solutions that meet client needs within it.
  • Lead, empower and develop a team of solutions specialists.
  • Collaborating with client service teams on briefs received that potentially sit in the team’s area of expertise, discussing and refining with the client, writing proposals and designing tailored solutions.
  • Partnering with data science team for the continuous improvement of analytical solutions based on client feedback, new questions and project experience.
  • Working with client service to plug knowledge gaps and drive commercial growth.
  • Strive to understand, connect and find alignment with the wider Kantar offer.

Key Capabilities:

  • Proven experience in consumer insights or market research roles with a particular focus on project-based delivery or consulting work.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience of market research segmentation or building strategies and solutions from a segmentation.
  • A strong people focus with experience of motivating & leading teams towards a shared vision.
  • Demonstrable commercial track record of revenue management & delivering client growth.
  • Confident, with the ability to deliver presentations and express an opinion to senior internal and external audiences with credibility.
  • Experience of delivering service excellence to clients both personally & through others.
  • Willing to embrace, drive and suggest change.
  • Open minded, curious, creative – self starter able to drive change and innovative processes.
