💷 Salary: £37,733 – includes a non-pensionable Recruitment and Retention allowance of £3,500.
You will also be entitled to an additional 35% shift allowance.

We are looking for an Infrastructure Operations Engineer to help manage and maintain the core infrastructure that underpins production services. The role holder has the technical knowledge and ability to provide second and third line support for incidents, problems and changes to solutions and services.

  • Assist in technical support activities and carry out all routine maintenance tasks according to process.
  • Monitor infrastructure and application services taking appropriate action where necessary.
  • Diagnose and prioritise standard incidents, investigate their causes and finding resolutions, allocating them to the appropriate channels where necessary.
  • Identify and engage with users and stakeholders.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will need to manage IT systems both on- and off-premise, while supporting the delivery of software and infrastructure development projects. You should be comfortable working independently and demonstrate initiative in problem-solving.

Technically, you will have hands-on experience with a range of systems, including Windows and Linux, in both virtual and physical environments, with a track record of applying best practices within structured frameworks.

Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll collaborate closely with colleagues and customers to diagnose, resolve, and escalate technical issues.

You will also be proficient in identifying, implementing, and documenting effective technical solutions that are reliable, repeatable, and aligned with business needs.
