At Changing Lives we believe that everyone deserves a safe home, a rewarding job and a life free from addiction or abuse. We also believe that, given the right support, anyone can change their life for the better. By focusing on their strengths, potential and opportunities, we help over 14,000 people overcome their problems and live safe, successful, independent lives each year.
We have grown in recent years and as part of our development we are looking at specific skills we need to enable the Charity to continue to offer the life changing services it does. We are delighted to grow our People team, with the newly created role of Health, Safety & Wellbeing Lead to support our ambitious plans by advising, guiding and supporting Changing Lives as we continue to grow. This key appointment sits within the People Team, led by the Executive People Director Lesley Anne Knowles, and is a fantastic opportunity to build on the great work we are currently doing.
You will lead on ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation, meeting the quality and safety expectations of the organisations that contract our services and delivering planned activities. Strategically partnering both the Operational and Central Office functions, a key focus will be placed on advancing employee engagement and truly embedding a safety culture throughout. Through engaging with our people through the pandemic, we have gained a greater insight into how we can further develop, with particular focus on psychological risk and support. Future proofing our business is key to our success, and how we will manage risk over the coming 12 months is at the forefront of our priorities and something that will be your key priority.
This key appointment is offered on a Full Time (1 FTE) basis, offering a competitive package, and flexible approach to working hours.
If you would like to learn more, please contact Lesley Anne Knowles (Lesleyfirstname.lastname@example.org) or Neil Baird Head of Homelessness (email@example.com) for a confidential conversation.
We look forward to learning more about you, and discussing how you can lead our ambitious Health, Safety & Wellbeing agenda.
