This role is responsible for the end to end global Infrastructure services of Kantar Group working closely to manage all services with our internal teams and external partners.

The post holder is to provide leadership and vision for developing and supporting IT Infrastructure across the business while also being hands on.  This role works closely with Architecture, Security and 3rd party partners.  This role is a key member of the Technology Leadership Team.

The role is coming at a transformation stage for Kantar with the sale from WPP, the right candidate will need to have experience of designing and transitioning to/from 3rd party service models as this will form a key part of the role in the first year.  The initial year(s) will be very much managing vendors and projects which those vendors will deliver while the longer term will be to help design and transition to a future Kantar model.

KEY OUTCOMES

  • Business engagement regarding infrastructure services from an End to End delivery of IT Infrastructure services
  • Leading a global team dispersed geographically throughout North America, LATAM, APAC and Europe.
  • Manage and track our assets across the technology estate (Hardware, software, licensing)
  • Develop the infrastructure strategy and roadmap incl. budget to support the business in both development and day to day operations in a global capacity.
  • Ensure compliance with information security policy and standards across Kantar Infrastructure
  • Develop and optimise the current infrastructure
  • Capture and handle new business demands for infrastructure development
  • Create transparency in the business with KPI-based reporting and statistics
  • Design, Develop and optimise the Infrastructure Service department (organisation, people and processes)
  • Excellence in Service Delivery Management

CAPABILITIES  

  • Degree within a technology related field.
  • Experience leading multi-location and culture teams
  • Be the thought leader in infrastructure technology and services
  • ITIL would be strongly beneficial but not essential
  • Proven ability to work with third parties such as services and delivery partners
  • Experience of producing board-level reporting that highlights key metrics and risks to the right levels in the organization and to clearly show the plans to resolve.
  • Demonstrate leadership and motivational qualities when managing staff.
