What you will be doing:

Working as part of the team, you will contribute to the business objectives of delivering Engines for our customers on time and to a high specification. You will :

  • Deliver consistent, high-quality machining across a variety of different aerospace engine components and engine product families.
  • Work to Rolls-Royce’s Technical Instructions and program manuals.
  • Operate a variety of inspection equipment, including machine probing, micrometers, plug gauges.
  • Interpretation of manufacturing drawings, customer drawings and written specifications.
  • Assessment of whether the quality of components produced within the facility meets the required standards.
  • Work within a team to effectively resolve quality issues and ensure your work is being completed to plan.

 

Who we are looking for:

  • Completed an advanced level engineering apprenticeship* and an NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Experienced in machining/inspecting Aerospace components.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Awareness of health, safety and environmental procedures and regulations in a production setting.
  • Ability to operate safely and deal with any discrepancies or issues while following correct procedures.
  • Ability to inspect components with a high level of complexity.
