What you will be doing
As a Deputy Manager within Calico Homes’ Barley View team in Whitworth, you will work closely with older people offering an innovative and high quality service to support those with care needs and dementia. Your role will involve coordinating the care team, interacting with the residents to understand their needs, liaising with health professionals and families, welcoming new residents and playing an important role in the Senior Leadership Team at Barley View.
As a Deputy Manager you will need to be able to work with older people and those with dementia alongside our experienced care team at our beautiful home – Barley View, providing support to the care staff and promoting continuous improvement whilst delivering the best possible outcomes for our customers.
The role requires a level of flexibility in which you may be required to work mornings, evenings and occasional weekends to ensure all care staff are supported. The role also includes some on call responsibilities.
Your hours of work would be 37.5 hours per week, normally Monday – Friday (some weekends).
