Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Communications Executive to join our family of talented people in the Pet Trading team, working across our pet portfolio.

You will focus on customer loyalty and retention. Working within the Customer Experience team, you’ll be responsible for optimising our customer communications journeys and ensuring customer understanding of our documentation.

Your focus:

  • Implement recommended improvements to the customer journey, using multiple channels such as email, SMS, social and post.
  • Update customer communications and documentation as required, making sure regulatory requirements are met.
  • Develop and implement email marketing campaigns as required to improve the customer experience, driving customer loyalty and retention.
  • Work closely with the Insight and Analytics team to measure the success of marketing campaigns, with a view to improving performance.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams across the wider business (like Operations and IT)  to ensure the timely and effective delivery of changes to journeys and communications/documentation.
  • Support with business-as-usual and ad hoc tasks and projects as required.

About you

To be a success in this role, you will have a passion for pets, and experience or knowledge of the pet industry would be an advantage.

You will have keen attention to detail, as well as numerical skills to analyse key insight.

You will have a can-do attitude, with an openness to challenges and willingness to learn.

You will have excellent communication skills and when required the ability to influence negotiation or empathise when required to get the customer satisfaction

Previous experience being involved with projects is desirable, as well as working with external agencies.
