Cromwell Hospital is a major private hospital in West London providing Outpatient and Inpatient services. The Hospital has 150 beds, 6 theatres, and full intensive care facilities.

You shall be based in the CT department with the primary aim of leading the department on a daily basis, driving quality and compliance and delivering robust training for all staff.  You shall liaise closely with the General X-ray and CT Superintendent to maintain and enhance the CT imaging service and offering to our patients and stakeholders.

A flexible and adaptive working attitude is crucial, along with a willingness to participate in the on-call service and attend monthly MDTs.

The CT Department is currently comprised of a brand new Siemans Somatom Force scanner. We have a high patient footfall and are looking to expand our services. We currently conduct a variety of CT examinations including full body imaging, neurological, cardiac and biopsy procedures as well as some specialist orthopaedic imaging.

  • Understand and implement all policies and procedures relating specifically to CT scanning.
  • Perform high quality examinations as required by referring physicians according to departmental policies and procedures and ensure that all patients being imaged receive a high standard of care.
  • Accurately analyse the acquired data, record results and produce high quality images for reporting.

What you’ll bring:

  • BSc or DCR in Radiography.
  • Post Graduate Certificate in CT would be desirable.
  • Desirable to have experience of Siemens scanners.
  • Substantial CT experience (minimum of 3 years) including Cardiac CT experience.
  • Ability to work independently and make sensible clinical decisions, based on best practice.
  • Enthusiasm for training and supporting staff.
