What We’re Looking For

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Award-Winning Counter Fraud team as a Claims Handler based at our Leeds office. The team work hard to minimise the impact of Fraud on genuine customers.

  • Previous experience within Counter Fraud (Motor) is preferred
  • You have knowledge of and able to manage cases within the Civil Litigation Process
  • Knowledge of motor insurance bodily injury is essential
  • Ability to coach and mentor is helpful
  • Ability to work methodically
  • Attention to detail and diligence
  • An inquisitive nature and ability to be assertive in gaining details to assist with investigations
  • Ability to make timely and accurate decisions on referrals

What You’ll be Doing

When our Claims teams suspect any fraudulent activity during the claims process our Counter Fraud teams become responsible for investigating, preventing and detecting further fraudulent activity. As a Counter Fraud claims handler, you will be responsible for the effective management of the claim whilst working closely with regulatory requirement and relevant legislation.

  • Ensure end-to-end quality claims outcomes and decisions in your own portfolio and that of Core Handlers. For example; accurate decision-making, accurate data quality, adherence to process and minimum impact on the genuine customer
  • Use resources available to you to continually drive your performance and that within your team
  • Apply problem solving methodology to make the way we work as effective as possible and eliminate waste

Hours: 35 hours per week – Monday-Friday
