Persimmon Homes North London has a vacancy for an experienced residential Contracts Manager to join their successful and growing construction management team. This role will be based from the regional office in Maidenhead and will be responsible for projects across the Northern Home Counties.

As a Contracts Manager responsible for overseeing various large housing projects you will report to a Head of Construction and have contact with all other regional departments. The Head of Construction and Managing Director will support and develop you in the way Persimmon operate, meaning you will enable your team of Site Managers to build more quality houses for our customers on time and within budget. They will give you clear objectives. You will need to be adaptable and strong in your management style with a consistent approach to customer care and health and safety.

Confident leadership, especially from a health and safety perspective is essential. You will be expected to work to our strict standards. It would be highly desirable if you have operated as a Contracts Manager in a previous role, ideally within the house building sector. Or you could be looking for that step up from Senior Site Manager if you can demonstrate a sound residential background.
You must have an up to date CSCS card (black management card). Previous qualifications such as a BTEC, NVQ 4 in Site Management or an HND or degree or equivalent would be desirable.
