What we’re looking for
This is an exciting career opportunity in the field of Commercial Lines pricing & product development that would suit an experienced product developer with good Radar skills. You should have a real passion for delivering high quality rating engines through product understanding and Radar functionality expertise, and who is able to gain the trust of senior partners.
It goes without saying that you should be a good team player but also be able to use your own initiative and progress work independently.
o Ideally have experience within a similar Radar development role in the financial services industry

What you’ll be doing
Being a Radar specialist we want to mine your knowledge and experience and look to you to develop recommendations to improve DLG’s product performance.
We are a company where we say it like it is, and if something needs fixing, or improvements can be made – we would love to hear about it. We expect you to offer your support to the wider team and take the lead on some projects and that your insight will inform and positively influence business decisions and strategy.
You will be working to constantly improve our Radar rating engines, alongside underwriting and pricing, to reduce risks and deliver a better rating engine to our customers.
Who will you be working with?
The role sits within the Commercial Motor Pricing team reporting to James Benson, Head of Pricing Products. This role works within the Commercial Motor Change Team which includes pricing, underwriting and testing, and works in an Agile way to constantly improve and develop the rating engine.
