ACCOUNT MANAGER/DIRECTOR (HEALTHCARE)

To support our continued expansion within Europe, Kantar is looking for a new team of Client Partners (Account Managers / Directors) with a strong market research and consultancy background to join our Health Division in multiple locations within the UK & continental Europe. Reporting to the European Executive Client Partner for Marketing Insights, you will be in charge of all aspects of account management for a set number of European client accounts within the pharma sector.

Our Health Division provides research and strategic recommendations to our clients from the global pharmaceutical, medtech and biotech industries. We work across a large variety of research studies within the healthcare industry. Worldwide, our international team is composed of 700 dedicated healthcare consultants coming from very diverse horizons, and we are present in 80 locations around the world.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Manage key existing accounts
  • Establish and maintain client’s relationships at all client levels
  • Understand your clients’ strategies & develop a thorough understanding of clients’ businesses, the healthcare industry and the competitive landscape, to ensure that all client needs are exceeded
  • Make pitch casting decisions, proposal development and final decisions on how best to win the engagement in conjunction with research and consulting leader
  • Serve as senior sponsor on client engagements to ensure high quality engagements are delivered to our clients
  • Help to select teams and resources to be placed against specific client engagement
  • Work closely with Research & Consulting to determine final pricing to clien
  • Positively participate in the global ecosystem and is expected to be a strong team player within a collaborative cultural environment

THE CANDIDATE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business or life science’s area
  • Significant experience in client account management & sales experience within the market research industry
  • Proven track of preparing new business proposals
  • A strong background in the healthcare / pharma sector would be a plus
  • Need to be agile, flexible, able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
  • A driven, ambitious and goal-orientated person, who thrives on engaging with and understanding clients.
  • Ability to work with multi-country teams
  • Team player, strong collaborative working and desire to operate as part of a team
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral.
  • This position requires overnight travel, both domestic (60%) and some European travel (on average one day per week) for client meetings, attendance at conferences, or internal meetings
