Our manufacturer and agency team play a huge role in Auto Trader’s future as we gain momentum with our ambition to “become to new what we are to used”. As always success will be underpinned by having brilliant people who are truly passionate about our ambition to build long term strategic partnerships with UK car manufacturers.
As we grow this part of our business we’re recruiting for more Client Development Directors. The roles give our senior account leaders the opportunity to take ownership and accountability for progressing commercial and strategic OEM relationships.
We’re still in the relatively early stages of working with this customer segment and as such we need people who can identify key contacts at all levels and get a foot in the door.
Once there, our CDDs need to be able to inspire and motivate the brand to work with Auto Trader across all our business areas from Marketing to APIs. We’ve got awesome solutions and data to work with and it’s the CDDs who bring this to life, able to articulate why car manufacturers shouldn’t just see TV, Google and Facebook as the routes to consumers!
CDDs work closely with the Agency and Ad ops teams making sure our customers have an experience to be proud of and that our results convince them to partner with us further.
We’re looking for someone with proven experience of dealing with senior sales or marketing teams within car manufacturers. You must also have proven success in retaining and growing revenue within a complex sales environment. Whilst being superb at building customer relationships and being able to differentiate from the competition, the role demands the ability to be able to make customers think differently and inspire them to change through your consultative support. This is a field-based role which includes regular nationwide travel to client sites, and our offices in London and Manchester.
