You will work closely in a small, dynamic team where you will provide a professional Benefits Assurance and Tracking service with responsibility for the agency Benefits Realisation Management (BRM) process; providing assurance to the Executive Team (ET) that all investment decisions have clearly defined, measurable and agreed benefit profiles/realisation plans. You will also be responsible for the Active Benefits Management by gathering and tracking the actual realisation of benefits, working with stakeholders to understand variances and initiating re-forecasting where applicable. Accuracy, attention to detail and working with large amounts of data is vital to achieve this.
You will work with stakeholders to provide recommendations and actions for maximising benefits and mitigating risks.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
• Developing and managing the benefits realisation management tracking database
• Collating benefits realisation tracking and analysing information to provide recommendations and actions for maximising benefits
• Being responsible for collation of monthly / quarterly Executive Team benefits assurance reports
• Assisting with developing the benefits tracking to include the wider government benefits/costs, external UK Plc, by service and cross programme
• Carrying out the delivery of the BRM process for the Agency, ensuring compliance with end to end processes
• Acting as a subject matter expert for unit activities and the relevant standards, legislation and best practice

Person specification
To become successful in the role you will need to be confident in analysing data, able to provide recommendations to stakeholders and be comfortable explaining and interpreting data to others in a clear and simplistic manner, whether that be in written or verbal format. You are naturally inquisitive and value knowledge, ask questions and seek answers in-order-to deliver successful outcomes.
You can build rapport quickly with internal stakeholders which enables you to build solid working relationships and can handle challenging conversations when necessary.
You are exceptionally well organised and take a flexible approach to your work, able to effectively manage and prioritise a busy workload. You look at the bigger picture and take a positive approach to solving problems.
You will have excellent IT skills and will be a proficient user in the use of Microsoft packages such as Microsoft Excel which will include using pivot tables and complex statistical formulas.
