Role & Requirements

 Role:                BAME Support Worker

Location:        Rochdale

Hours:              18.5 hours

Status:            Temporary (6 months) 

 

We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to work closely with BAME survivors of domestic abuse offering direct support to residents in our safehouses, in both individual and groups settings, contributing to their personal development and wellbeing.

 

The work involves having excellent communication skills in building relationships with residents and their children, interacting with your colleagues and liaising with professionals to contribute effectively to the smooth running of the Safe Houses.

Offers are subject to an enhanced DBS check. Successful candidates will undertake a 5 day Induction Programme prior to starting employment. This Induction Programme is Mandatory and all new employees have to attend the programme. You will be paid a flat rate for attending these days.
