This is an exciting opportunity to provide efficient and effective support that helps deliver the key priorities of the Operations and Customer Services Directorate (OCSD). In this role, you will play an important part in helping the organisation meet Service Level Agreements, Secretary of State requirements and agency targets while delivering a high-quality service to customers. You will work in a people-focused environment that champions recognition, involvement, development and support for all, while working in line with Civil Service values.

 

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work collaboratively to open, assess, deliver, validate, process and input or scan applications, perform general administration and casework activities, escalating issues when required.
  • Offer help and advice to customers, stakeholders and colleagues in a timely and professional manner using various communication channels.
  • Support public safety and enforcement by capturing all data accurately and efficiently minimising any potential risks against criminal activities.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong attention to detail and accuracy, processing applications carefully and capturing data correctly.
  • Communicates in a customer-focused way, providing clear and professional support to customers, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Is well organised and works effectively in a team, managing workloads, meeting targets, and collaborating with others.

No specific experience or qualifications are required as full training will be provided.
