£40,000 – £45,000 base salary (depending on experience)

About the area you’ll be working in…
From Finance and IT, to Marketing and People (HR) our support functions are the backbone of our Global operations. As the Treasury Accountant, you will work closely with senior management in a close-nit team, supporting Bupa Group Finance.
What you’ll be doing…
As the Treasury Accountant, you will enjoy a varied role, including monthly accounting, forecasting & management reporting, statutory reporting and ad hoc projects.
What’s a typical day?
- Recording transactions by Bupa treasury companies on Treasury Management System
- Prepare monthly management accounts & reconcile on system
- Produce month-end Treasury management system reports
- Forecasting & reviewing financial income, expenses & funding
- Commentary for financial income & expense versus Bupa strategic plans -explain variances
- Support production of financial statements for treasury companies
- Manage Bupa Group’s intercompany balance netting cycle
Who we’re looking for?
- Part-qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Ideally, working towards holding further Treasury qualifications (AMCT).
- Technical accounting experience – Treasury experience will be an advantage
- Treasury products & instruments knowledge
- Ability to ‘investigate’ financial data
