Test Analyst

The Role

As a Test Analyst you will join our Digital and Change team and contribute towards the successful delivery of high quality software changes across our systems and platforms.

You will achieve this by supporting the design and execution of testing scenarios and where appropriate challenge existing processes/procedures to further improving our testing capabilities.

We can be flexible on location (within the UK) as this role offers remote working opportunities, however we would expect the successful candidate to commute to one of our offices (either Bexhill or Leicester) as required.

How you will make a difference

  • Support the design and execution of testing scenarios (both automated and manual) including record keeping
  • Contribute to the analysis of test results and timely raising of defects
  • Build SME knowledge about systems, processes, tools and testing methodologies
  • Conformance to agreed process standards and industry specific regulations
  • Participate in team retrospectives to support continuous improvement
  • Support the delivery of test results to agreed timelines
  • Understanding of risk and issues including mitigation
  • Learning new tools and processes
  • Understanding and application of test automation
  • Proactive collaboration with all members of the delivery teams to improve understanding
  • Actively participate in the Testing Community of Practice

Required Skills/Experience

  • 1-2 Years demonstrable experience within a testing role
  • Previous exposure to testing tools/methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to understand and retain information quickly
  • Ability to build a network inside and outside of the organisation
  • Ability to work in a time pressured environment
  • An inquisitive nature, with a natural thirst for learning
  • Analytical thinking
  • Good understanding of MS Office suite of applications
  • Keen interest in software and technology
  • Understanding of Agile methodology (Desirable but not Essential)
