We’re currently looking for a Technical Development Technician to join our Product Assurance Team. If you’re someone who enjoys dismantling tech to understand it, gets satisfaction from solving problems and wants to be at the heart of innovation in net zero solutions and energy devices – this could be your perfect fit.

In this role, you’ll work closely with a wide range of Net Zero solutions and smart energy assets – from legacy equipment to the latest in renewable tech.

  • Delivering technical reports, sharing knowledge across teams, and helping train staff on asset functionality.

  • Representing the Product Assurance team in cross-departmental meetings and external engagements.

Here’s what we need from you:

We’re looking for someone who loves figuring things out, working with their hands, and learning through doing. You don’t need to know everything on day one, but if you’ve got an investigative mindset and a knack for technology, we want to hear from you.

  • A solid understanding of electrical product function testing and the ability to follow structured test scripts.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • A methodical approach to analysing and testing.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly to a range of audiences.

  • A valid passport (occasional travel within the UK and abroad may be required).

  • Self-motivation and a genuine interest in learning and contributing to the team.

It would be great if you had:

  • Hands-on experience installing and testing net zero solutions (ie. battery storage systems, inverters, energy management systems).

  • Experience working with complex electronic or smart energy devices.

  • Exposure to or interest in net zero technologies.
