It is a really exciting time to join the Reach family. Due to our sustained growth and our ambitious future growth plans, we are now looking for a Social Media Editor to join us as part of our network of Live brands.
This role exists as a content writer/content editor level role (depending on experience) to build relationships with readers and focus on content post publication.
This role will be a mix of home and office working at our Canary Wharf office.

Manage social media channels in accordance with Live network best practice and priorities including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok and any other emerging platforms.
Co-ordinate and help out with live feeds (primarily Facebook) as and when required.
Create and advise on social media videos, putting these front and centre of the newsroom.
Occasionally write compelling social stories that build engagement.
Assist with newsletters as and when required.
Implement projects to grow registered users
Find new ways to promote content off–platform and find new readers
The ideal candidate
Strong social media skills
Content writing experience, preferably as a reporter
First rate people skills
Digital publishing skills
Passion for digital storytelling
NCTJ or equiv qualification
Deep knowledge of media law
Strong understanding of social media
Evangelist for audience engagement
