Senior Project/Board Office Manager

We are looking for a Senior Project/ Board Office Manager for the CEO office.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing

  • Working with the Chief of Staff, support the E.ON Next Leadership Team to help define and shape the business strategy and associated initiatives to deliver it

  • Lead the end-to-end ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects to deliver the agreed strategy, including operations, commercial, technology, finance and people

  • Manage the governance interface with the other UK and SE Group E.ON businesses, so that controls are in place that are appropriate for the entrepreneurial dynamic of E.ON Next

  • Using business data to create insight that informs real time decision making and helps find solutions to emerging business problems

  • Preparation and facilitation of E.ON Next leadership meetings

  • Work analytically and creatively using teamwork, innovation, and operational excellence to solve problems

  • Take an active part in the recruitment and capability build-up of the team, and overall team spirit

Are we the perfect match?

We’re looking the following experience.

  • Degree or above education or equivalent extensive experience

  • You’ll need extensive experience in managing projects end-to-end in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with a lot freedom, but also responsibility

  • Combination of management and “hands on” delivery experience is critical

  • Strong track record of building effective relationships across all stakeholder groups

  • Proficiency with project management tools and related technology

  • Customer obsessed; our customers are at the heart of everything we do

  • Self-management is key being able manage different topics at the same time and integrate ad hoc requests while not letting things fall

  • High intrinsic motivation, drive, and energy level. Willingness to take responsibility and ownership

  • Strong analytical skills, and a high capacity for conceptual thinking
