This is a great opportunity to join our Traffic division to project manage some of our very exciting traffic technology innovation projects. You will be involved from identifying the opportunity to supporting it and seeing it over the line and into BAU.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead, Manage and Co-ordinate Projects ensuring all aspects of Quality, Health & Safety, Finance plus Customer requirements are delivered to meet contractual requirements
  • Develop Project delivery processes
  • Implement consistent governance and controls to report on SLAs / KPIs
  • Provide day to day Management and Support to the Project Delivery team
  • Manage and Coordinate the installation and handover of specific scheme works
  • Manage risks & issues throughout the Project
  • Implement and Communicate all CDM requirements to Telent staff and contractors
  • Define Client Project Scope and Deliverables
  • Manage the Financial performance of the Project
  • Undertake site inspections to ensure Safety
  • Ensure compliance with the Construction Phase Plan.

Who you are:

The Successful candidate will have previous experience, within either a Highways or Traffic Technology environment as well as having worked to ITIL standards.

You will be used to working closely with the end client as well and ensuring the internal team are kept motivated and are aware of the goals and achievements required. Managing resource planning, P&L, provide and escalation point, monitor project risks and communicate with directors on progress of the projects.

Key requirements:

  • Excellent previous Project Management or experience in Traffic environment
  • To have worked on large scale complex projects
  • Prince2 and ITIL.
