Product Lead – Retail

We are looking for a brilliant Product Lead to help us grow industry leading customer offerings as we continue to rapidly scale up our customer base and product range. Our Retail product area is responsible for maximising revenue and profitability, supporting our commercial team to deliver market leading B2B and B2C customer propositions. We are a flat and agile organisation and plan to remain this way. We are looking for a hands-on Product Lead that can help build our retail capabilities across our business as we continue to grow. Our Product Leads are here to solve complex customer and business problems with great solutions. It is really important that we are innovating new and exciting ways to leverage the latest technology to solve these complex customer problems.

The Product Lead has direct responsibility for our technology retail and B2B strategy and vision; ensuring clarity and understanding with the business. Meaning they work closely with our people and customers to understand the most valuable problems to solve. Then create a cohesive strategy to leverage the best of SAAS products, Kraken Technologies and our own Tech Products. The Product Lead will play a critical role in unlocking value for EON Next across our product portfolio. They need to work in partnership with the Technology, Commercial and Strategy teams at all times. Our Product Lead has to really understand how our systems work, identify problems and be an expert for their product area. They know their end user and customer needs, follow technology trends and will explore future opportunities; bringing technology, people and processes together across E.ON Next to innovate improvements throughout the product lifecycle. The Product Lead will be a critical role in bringing all the right people together to deliver our roadmap.

Responsibilities
▪ Work closely with the SAAS partners, Kraken Technologies and internal Product Managers to define the overall Retail product vision and strategy
▪ Influence multiple third parties to ensure the best possible Retail product
▪ Engage with stakeholders, customers and sponsors across EON Next to understand the key problems and value
▪ Build a great Product Roadmap that pulls together the best of SAAS, Kraken and In-House products to create the best customer and business experience
▪ Identify new technology and market trends to support the Retail Product
▪ Drive a lean experimental approach to unlocking value across the Retail Product area and our Commercial business
▪ Support the business with continuous improvement across all Retail technologies
▪ Partner closely with our internal Product Managers who own our Retail tech products
▪ Stay on the forefront of change and drive an agile and adaptable approach to change

Qualifications and Experience
▪ Degree qualified equivalent, with strong product experience
▪ Strong customer service experience with experience across the customer lifecycle
▪ Strong agile experience and execution skills
▪ Experience of working with SAAS product and technology partners
▪ Solid understanding of technology and associated trends
▪ Excellent communications, collaboration and presentation skills
▪ Strong influencing skills and ability to challenge traditional ways of thinking
▪ Experience of working with significant complex delivery pipelines
